SEC4 FAREWELL+ WEEK 9 UPDATE

i finally decided to update this damn dead blog.

Yep, so last wednesday was sec4 farewell after it was postponed like multiple times because of stupid H1N1.

Haha, people said sec1 gift was the nicest. which was pretty cool considering that ours was just folded stars forming their name on black cardboard. and i gave krystal hers. partially cos i liked the colour combination and partly cos shes nice to me, i mean you dont find a sec4 senior who actually smiles at you when she sees you everyday.

then we took loads of photos with them and it was kinda sad to know they wont be training with us anymore. yeah, sec2s gave them this cool video thing and mr yeoh bought some cake for us to eat from HILTON. must have been damn expensive. but it was nice. :) they tried to take jump shots but failed terribly and during the cake cutting, pristine kept slapping her hair in my face. -.-

that was last week.

this week, got sec school league. and i'm freaking out cos it's at chevrons. which is at jurong east, i'm going to kill myself bringing my ball there and back.

this week, got english oral. and i might just start freaking out and saying stupid stuff down there, blabbering nonsense. so much for being the teenager of the year.

this week, got french CA. if i fail, i cant look madame tse in the face. so embarrassing. oh wells.

this week, worse of all, got piano exam on friday. i dont want to fail, but its kinda hard not to. ah, joy. how to pass when my B piece is so disgusting. and my piano teacher will just take a broom and throw me out of her class.

just pray that i get past this terrible week. not to mention the poetry project due next week. yeah, this blog is undead as of 23rd August 2009. 10.53am

ah ha ha. hi again everyone after 1 month.

there was nothing to blog about, life is mundane. same pattern over and over.
school, test, work, sleep. school, test, work, sleep.

haha, right, feel happy about that post. besides, it was ages ago. right, so i anticipate a surprise visit. and yup, miss you over at 106. and everyone else too. my mum says she misses you too.
(amah, shes seen you countless of times, and zer, you just screamed to her about bloody banglah the other day on the car.

ok, so today. avpa meeting.

it was like your greatest revelation ever. duty rosters, 4 functions a year and some quarterly project. how on earth am i supposed to fit everything together with training huh.

no wonder there wasnt a single sports cca except me and ang and this TT girl. -.-

yeah, so me, zer and ang went crazy about the platoon thing and ang dashing out randomly when it wasnt even her turn. cheated yee ting of her turn.

and her KIN-DER-GAR-TEN THING. isnt it KIN-DER-GAR-DEN?

honestly. the rate shes going, shes going to have a shop for every single word. sigh.

and zer started going mad and squirting lychee tea everywhere. and i didnt know lychee tea was transparent. O.O

yeah, that about wraps up the avpa meeting.

um, what other great event. actually nothing much, just that C div is next week. fantastic.

totally overloaded with physics, english and lit. so much for holidays too.

17-20 March: NAG. they are going to evaluate us according to our average. die

oh, karen, if you're reading this, the longgggg rainbow i saw was partly double sided. :D and i know i'm a drama mama who is also a IPP (impatient paranoid person). according to ang. -.-

founder's day yesterday was so cool. in a way. i missed piano. and that makes it 2 make up lessons. one for yesterday and another for orientation camp.

being the IPP i am, i forced everyone (ak, ang and jel) out with me at 6. it was supposed to be 5.45. but they refused. anyway, we got to chope good seats.

it was super squashy and hot. i was so sticky and sweaty. and the girl on stage kept going "please quieten down/lower your noise level. the founder's day 2009 will begin shortly/soon."
AT EVERY LIKE WHAT, 5 MIN INTERVAL.

when it finally started, mrs hoo's speech was so pro. and we get next friday off! :D

oh, miss norris came with mrs chee, who was prinicpal when my gu gu was in rgs, mrs carmee lim and ms deborah tan who the sec 4 seniors cheered for.

when all the speeches were over, it was super dark. and we had the birthday cake and song where we all went off with the rgsssssssssssssssssss part.

and then the concert part started.

there was the live the legacy skit. super cool what with the 5 people in the house colours standing there and i think the purple was a nice purple. they chose the correct shade. :D

the fake violinists came out and played. then the cue came which was the live the legacy magically appearing on their backs. and i dont think anyone got it. cos there were no torchlights. i didnt get it too.

after that, we had cheers. and ended way early. and i didnt think the GO would be open at that time so i left the class register in ms kung locker and prayed really hard she would go school today or something and help me give back.

waited at the bus stop filled with people. and me and amanda chia started walking and walking.

hope the learning journeys turn out fun and SAs turn out fine.

talked to zer on msn. she was so super high and ego. kept being in denial about her less-than-awesome/pwnsome self. while i was the apparent loser. -.- zer, you loserrrrr.

nat was totally MIA except when she was outside the gym and she waved at me. other than that, she disappeared. MOMENTARILY.

i think i might fail chinese like everyone else. this is scary. blah blah blah. like amah, we shall all GASP TOGETHER.

MASS DANCE

yesterday.

we were doing MASS DANCE. and and me and ruixin were laughing hysterically at the whole not able to skip thing. I COULD SKIP, OK. like do the hoppity thingy. and doing the tribal clap.

dance until want to die. amah said the people told her the meaning of the dance. -.- what waiting for someone ah. the dance moves so gay. and amah took our car home. no wait. she stopped at the OLD BROWN SHOE TO BUY BEER AND THE ORGANIC STORE TO EAT COS SHE WANT TO DIET. and spilled more water on herself and ugly black guy.

she gave me the chips more. hahaha. so hungryyyyy after dancing lah. saw nat standing there with dont know who lah. and ang's mum standing there waiting for fatang. she disappeared to dont where like that. eat probably. -.-

graded assignment passed. thank God lah. and there's one more on tuesday. and english&chinese SA on wednesday and and french test on thursday. so many test lah. i'm going to die. go kill myself with the vernier caliper. -.-

HOUSE PRACTICE/PSL SESSION

today was HOUSE PRACTICE 2 and PSL SESSION 4. went back to school.

then HADLEY was assembling in the gym. so learnt MORE cheers. and went for all the trials like the long-distance, long jump and discus.

we went to long jump first. at the squash courts. a bit like standing broad jump only you could take one step. yeah, so i jumped and kinda scraped my knee on the mat. it was reddish.

marched over to the basketball courts. said hi to WADDLE and zer. :D threw the fake discus. someone told me i was SHORTLISTED. wow.

walked back over to the netball courts to have the long distance. said hi to WADDLE and zer once again. -.- then we waited for BUCKLE to finish their turn. before we started to run and run and run. dont think i was shortlisted for that.

changed to AMPHITHEATRE for location. saw nat and isy sitting with the TARBETIANS. saw karen who was dancing/cheerleading. cool. :D played the bomb thing. RICHARDSON were rather unenthu. in the bomb game i mean.

then all the houses cheered before it ended and we went to PSL session. had the role play thing. me and courtney were in GROUP 3. THE MAGIC NUMBER.

THE STORY OF THE MAGIC NUMBER:
we were supposed to say our birthdays; day, date and month. then courtney was 3rd March so she said trois(pronounced tua). so ang and i thought it was some special word associated with birthdays. so we all said it. which was so pathetic. and the teacher got pissed. i think.

and and, we nearly got value NUMBER 3. THE MAGIC NUMBER. sadly we didnt. THE MAGIC NUMBER WAS STOLEN FROM US.

DEAD NISSAN/BOWLING TRIAL

its cny this week. and my car died. :O

yeah, it was like driving driving then vroooooooooooooooooooooom! and it started dying. and jerking and ahhhhhhhhhh. we are stranded in some wu lu place. at night.

then we had to call a toll car person and then we went bai nian in a VAN. :O so hot and stuffy and woody. like i got wood stuff stuck in my hand. -.- so disgusting.

ohhhhh, and i got into trial 2 for bowling. i have to get in like cos i havent got into anything else. D: so pathetic. scarcely get stuck into UG then i faint ah. then go marching with zer. LEFT LEFT LEFT RIGHT LEFT. some more take fake gun and shoot people.

just went for the trial. bowled with amanda and vernetta. and there were so many pro people in trial 2. so scary. and then they started telling us about commitment and stuff. i think they are afriad we dont want to like choose bowling.

you know, i just went to amah's blog (bythe-wayside.bs). yeah, so kinda featuring her right now. :D BE HONOURED.

and and all the remember stuff she said made me so sad lah. yeah. i mean i didnt slack after learning for one and a half hour okay, amah? YOU DID. of course, ms lee was a FANTASTIC teacher. teach all the got use stuff. not some worthless things. and i totally agree with the whole respecting everyone except mrs ten thing. come on. she wasnt really making us respect her or anything. SHE WAS SCOLDING US NAMES.

you fa dai, NOT ME. I PAY ATTENTION IN EVERY CLASS. so i dont get evil eyes. they are weirdly scary. i cant believe you can LAUGH during maths. its such a jin zhang shi ke amah. if you dont do well, ms lee will HANG YOU.

ms lee shouldnt have just shake her head and sighed. she should TAKE A CHOPPER AND HACK YOU PEOPLE TO PIECES. mitch's table like EVERYONE'S TABLE LEH. ALL COME ONE.

you can still see ang smelling books. SHE DOESNT STOP. AT ALL. whoever is a 6F'08 and doesnt miss it is WEIRD. i miss it like crazy and if i could, i would turn back the time and go back to 6F'08. I AGREE WITH AMAH ON THIS.

yeah, we cant wish for everything and get it, amah. especially math answers. -raise eyebrows-
we must try to make it back everytime we can but the next time we can is, SEPTEMBER.

yay, today cny celebration then go back to school (RGPS). saw all the nanyang people. they were there at 11? so early lah. and then we all squashed into the lift and went to 5G where ms lee was waiting for us.

then isy and su-min had the whole i cheer rgs you cheer nanyang thing. and then scream scream scream. noisy lah.

asked ms lee about the maths thing. i was so un-educated on the whole intergers thing.

went to the canteen after a while cos amah insisted they wanted to eat. -.- then someone spotted ms chan at the far far end and started running. then talk talk talk. then bernita came and ms chan was so freaked out. and then amah came running and yelling "MS CHAAAAAAAAAAAN! MS CHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" and ms chan was all like xiao za bo.

then they started eating. and drinking. like rgs nothing to eat like that. then talked. and talked. and ms lee folded a chin rest. ang's invention. then me and zer started laughing like crazy lah.

ms chan looked so super tired. poor ms chan. what choir and teaching p6 somemore.

next week's schedule is so much better. only dental appointment and french.

CCA STUFF

i should blog more. later no more time to blog.

i'm starting to think that after school really begin, like study and stuff, i will grow really skinny cos like we dont even have time to eat and go toilet and sleep and then have dark eye rings and stuff and look dead like 102 the dead fish. which is really bad. cos zer cant go to the toilet anymore.

so worried about the orientation tea thing. and the cca trials thing. later no one want me. like i'm not pwnsome and and i dont pwn the world and awesomer than everyone like ZER. who wants to go what photograph club ah.

ang wants to go shooting. she's going to shoot us all. to DEATH. like piang piang piang and then all the people lie dead around her or something.

nat confirm get into art club. if she doesnt, its kelong or something. (to nat, i might be trialing for art.)

isy is the confirmed basketballer. shes captain leh. lucky her. no need to trial or do anything.

but i think they have trials for people who dont get into any cca even after all the trials. then they'll probably put you in a cca, the quota havent reach yet.

why isnt anyone online yet? unless, there's homework or something? or is everyone doing the concert sypnosis thing. must do ah? i should try to bring some unrealised enthu-ness so that i will be more happy about participating in activities and events in rgs.

and there were lots of talks and ice breakers. the psls were nice to us and really friendly. and i had to do something embarrassing like bump into the psl. man.

and we had to stay till 3.50pm. and monday is until 4.30pm. still wearing the pe shirt+culottes.

NAT'S BIRTHDAY

happy new year and all that. besides, that's not the point.

tomorrow, we will all know our classes. and we might all be in different classes. pathetic. pray hard to be with at least one person you know.

yesterday, went to nut's house to celebrate her birthday. ate dinner and isy came to give us all algae from hokkaido or something. and weird lip gloss.

went to the swimming pool and augustine started splashing people with water. and played bang bang with amah. cute lah.

nut loved the MASSAGE CUSHION; ITS NOT WHAT VIBRATING THING. its a domo actually. which was good.

yeah, we should praying really hard that we'll get into the same class and stuff.

RANDOM STUFF

everyone is asking me to update so i shall. because i am sorely tempted to do other stuff (play the playstation) so i dont feel like updating.

many stuff to talk about. shall list them down.

1. went out with nat, zer, ang, amah and jel. watched yes man and laughed at the male nurse guy with the cool motorbike.

then went to plaza sing. in the end, never finish the movie marathon thing. ang starts stealing people's fries.

headed to cathay. fat ang found her sawdust with the ugly tree hand on it. started exclaiming about the gramophone version even though she didnt have a gramophone. pathetic.

ate the astons place. it was ok. and ang the domestic help had to go around helping people eat mushroom soup in 30s which was kinda impossible.

laughed and gave advice to jel like the bathing thing. i mean if you had to choose between a dirty person and a clean person, of course you will choose the clean one right? and the one with the nicer smelling breath.

2. christmas

open the presents; one soft pooh bear cushion and a black esprit jacket. both equally good.

had turkey and an all meat meal. zer would have fainted. i mean no rice no vegetables.

games; all the gk questions. had to answer them, obviously. and there was the chinese shi game, i could only do one. i mean it was the chuang qian ming yue guang one.

yeah. dinner at west coast plaza fish&co. actually, fish&co wasnt that bad. i'm starting to think that the first one i went to had problems. took a lot of their free mints.

3. watched the movie bedtime stories. um it was funny and ang should go watch. i mean she's the adam sandler fan right? the click guy and is he the zohan guy? and the guinea pig was so cute. the one with the bigggggggg eyes.

yeah. then will try to update as soon as i can. but its like left one week to the first day of school and when you go to "work", there's no more time to blog. yeah. it's going to collect dust and rot and die.

DAY 9= DONG LAI SHUN STEAMBOAT

some of the ingredients we ordered. mushrooms, meat balls.

mutton. quite expensive, i think.

beef thingy. becomes grey after soaking it for a few seconds in the steamboat.

UNEXPECTED MEETINGS

lets have a break from the virtual trip to CHINA, BEIJING.

today is d-day. went back to school to get the leaving cert thing.

but, they all went in the morning. sorry guys. so went with amah instead. man. missed out on the whole meeting thing.

so collected the cert and left to bibibaba place to buy uniform. went to changing room to change and when i opened the door, guess who i saw? FAT ANG! we were kinda stunned. ang broke the silence with "MITCH!" and i was like "ANG!"

apparently, we had the same idea to buy the uniform at the bibibaba place instead of tomorrow at school. ang wears large-sized PE shirt and so do i. which is kinda weird. i mean ang should be medium or small.

went to watch twilight. it was sooo boring. talk talk talk. but it was funny at parts.

like the jessica girl describing jasper as the guy in PAIN. it was kinda true. the guy had bulging eyes and he didnt talk throughout the whole movie. he was like just there.

and charlie is funny too. when the tyler guy was apologising, he just drew the curtain like in front of his face. and the can of pepperspray.

DAY 6 MEAL= TIANJIN GOU BU LI PAO

sorry but i finished uploading all the sight-seeing places already. so back to meals. but this is the famous delicacy of tian jin ok.

goose liver and cord fish. i only ate the fish though.

MY FAVOURITE! LU DA GUN! it was so fantastic!

cos we were soooo hungry, we just grabbed the pao until left 2 before someone remembered to take a picture.

ya, this is the TIAN JIN FAMOUS GOU BU LI PAO.

the story of the name: there was this guy named gou(dog) zi. he made pao that was different(the one on top). then his business was so good, when his friend look for him, he kinda ignored them. so they added the bu li (ignore) at the back and there you have it. gou bu li pao.

the pro chef! she was making the pao so pro-ly and quickly. apparently, she took 2 years to master the technique.

EATING BEIJING ROAST DUCK TUTORIAL

since eating percy the pig needs tutorials, eating roast duck also need. follow the following steps for a perfect roast duck eating method.
select which skin you want (plain or with vegetables) and spread the sauce.

add the vegetables. (THIS IS SERIOUSLY OPTIONAL.)

南瓜饼。 fried pumpkin. very nice. must eat hot.

青菜汤。all veggies, so disgusting. suitable for zer, the half-vegetarian.

same thing but not spicy. no pepper seeds and acidic coke.

麻里麻里香锅。微辣。spicy with pepper seeds. eat pepper seeds for sensation. and acidic coke.

(someone ate the pepper seed and drank coke, then got numbing sensation on tongue, so declared the coke as acidic. and warned everyone else not to drink. and i already drank 2 glasses.)

ok so, today went to the forbidden city with the 9999 rooms. it was sooooooo big. and that emperor guy palace is so big. and the empress also.

and their garden is 90m by 130m. and inside their rooms, there are more rooms. and there are gardens for everyone. like emperor got one garden, empress got one garden. everyone has gardens. so big lah the place.

4h walk not enough. even still have sealed off places.

ate quan ju de for dinner. roast duck. very fulling. and they cut the duck in front of you. when they cut the first cut, all the oil oozes out. kinda oily.

ok cos the pictures are taking forever to load, i shall talk about the third and fourth(10th and 11th) day for now.
yesterday, instead of going to forbidden city as mentioned,(cos we spent lots of time eating beijing roast duck, 45 min per order cos they cook only when you order) i went to the water cube and bird nest. (no ang, didnt go to michael phelps lane. tickets were sold out when we reached, so maybe going another day.) they were kinda cool when they light up (water cube=blue, bird nest=red) at about 5. (it gets dark at 5 here.) so later went to eat hanashan(some weird korean restaurant). it wasnt very nice(sorry ang, but i think i know what you going to say. "thats not the real one, of course its disgusting. must go korea eat the real nice one." ok fine.
today, woke up at like 6.30am. went to the GREAT WALL. yes, it was full of SNOW. yes snow. again. so so like climb here climb there. super tiring. cos the steps upward some is super small others so steep lorh. then then coming down that time right, yes i stupidly slipped and started sliding like a fool down the floor. yes yes, you people going to start laughing at the super clumsy mitch. blah blah blah. yes so pathetic mitch rolls down the wall and gets saved by life-saver bro. and and in a snowball fight, mitch slips pathetically on a patch of ice and falls down. again. then ate some weird noodle at a weird shop. then went to horse-riding place. i think the people there think we are psycho. got snow and super cold still want to ride horse. then ride for 1h in a open space then dont know where you going. ride finish that time, go to restaurant to eat. now back in the apartment. going to forbidden city tomorrow. confirm already. no more false alarms. will upload photos asap.

people people! IT'S SNOWING HERE, THIRD DAY MORNING! OMG OMG OMG. like fluffy stuff going downnnnnnn. snow snow snow. my father says we are super lucky like cos usually it doesnt snow in early december. ok so, second day. yesterday, we stuck around at home for awhile and then went to eat some 麻里麻里香锅. it was quite nice. then they gave ice-cream at the end. so i went out and eat. in the cold. the sensation quite nice lah. then went to walk around at the 天安门 and took pics. without the thick winter thingy. and and went to that place with all the weird weird cook stuff. like scorpion and what starfish. and weird weird stuff. disgusting lah. then we took public bus back. super squashy. yeah. now for tag replies. :D

ok, hello people! blogging from Beijing now. touched down at about 2.30pm and reached the hotel at 5.30pm. the taxi ride was rather long lah. then we went to this restaurant called tai shou si. ate the food and took some pics. the food was ok, i guess. they tried serving those hot towels, ended up the were super cold lah. oh oh. and it's super cold lah. the wind blow then freeze lorh. have to wear lots of layers. so since we touched down so late, didnt do much today. and now for some tag replies. thanks once again guys.

(bro participated in 10km and father in 42.195km) my bro clocked a 1h and my father clocked 6h. and then they(dj people) were anticipating the 2h for the 42km marathon guy. then got this guy running in. then the djs were like "clap ah! cheer, scream!" and all that. then he runs in. next thing you know, "sorry sorry. false alarm. that was the 21km winner! the real guy will be coming in in about 5-10 min." like what lah. they can actually make this kind of mistake. even though the runners wear blue, pink, yellow and white tags, 10km men, 10km women, half-marathoners and full marathoners respectively.

finally, about the Beijing trip. i will be leaving tomorrow, 8 Dec. the flight is in the morning. so thanks for all the well wishes and anticipate lots of pictures, especially yeeting, who is the ultimate fan of Beijing. and so, please do not sms, call or contact me. ok? thanks.

DEAD COMPAQ

hi again.
i'm sorry, can't upload the pics. btw, nat, i changed the skin. is it ok? hope so. anyway, yesterday, my compaq laptop died. so brought it to Sim Lim Square(this place opposite my house, computer and electronics centre), to this guy and, apparently, the harddisk was spoilt. oh well. that thing was old. we can either:

1. change the harddisk at $120
2. top up one to two thousand to get a new one.

i'm hoping for option 2 anyway. compaq had lots of problems. oh and my bro went to the chalet(East Coast, i think) with his class, 2-6. coming back tomorrow. hope he has a fun time.

will try uploading the pics again. sorry. byeee.

TRIP TO RAFFLES CITY WITH AMAH!

just got back from walking with amah. she lah, went to the wrong macs we are supposed to meet. we went to like raffles city, (at least she was up to the walk) and molested clothes all over again. then we wandered all the way to That CD Shop and hunted for SUPER JUNIOR. in the end, it was out of stock. ate mrs field and went to Marks and Spencers. then amah so smart, bought the lame percy the pig gummies. percy costs $2.50 and and his friends, the sheep and the cow cost $1 each. oh well, ended up i ate most of it. (percy's friend the cow who is cola-flavoured) then like we ate mrs fields. (it wasn't as good as famous amos, sorry ang, i know you like mrs fields more). then paused by macs to get drinks. amah claimed that she was going to share with me. i ended up drinking the whole large cup. (amah, your sips aren't seriously counted, ok?) nearly puked it all out. but then i am weird in a way, i mean. let's say you pass me the popcorn pack in the movies then i will just hold it and take and put until everything is gone. so same with the drinks. then we went back to bugis junction, bumped into amah's church friends. then they were both like exclaiming, " what are you doing here?" then we sent her off at the bus stop. yeah. thats all. rather short.

i don't know whether this is like, real, but they look kinda cool. so i uploaded them.

THE WHITE TIGER. it looks kinda relaxed, not stressed after its gulity conscience is weighing on it after killing that guy.

THE OTTERS. they were really cute lah. when they saw us, they ran to the glass (above) and started squeaking.

the otters were initially like this lah. all curled up and sleeping. then when we were coming back, they were swimming. then after staring at us for like 5 min, they scampered off (for a family gathering).

this is a pic of me, my bro and my cousin(apparently, his attention was diverted) at this weird seal statue thingy.

hello everyone! my blog is officially open now! this is the 1st post and i shall dedicate it to jel! thanks to her, i managed to successfully create this blog having guided me every step of the way. HUGE THANKS TO JEL! she totally managed to put up with me (the well-known IT illiterate). i was asking stupid questions. where to find cbox, where to find blogskin, how to apply blogskin; if i were her, i would totally give up. so, THANKS TO JEL! and since my bro (darren), insisted i dedicated my 1st post to him(he was totally whining ok? and like throwing a fit with that black face). so i being magnimous and all(pukes), shall do it. ok, thanks for the so-called moral support you gave during my OPERATION BLOG CREATION.
